This collection showcases the shelters constructed at both Taliesin and Taliesin West during my tenure as a student. Though the school has since relocated and undergone a name change, its legacy of fostering adept student designers remains unchanged. Each student was tasked with designing, building, and then residing in their unique shelter for two months as part of their Master Thesis. This immersive experience culminated in a thesis that explored their findings and illustrated how these compact designs could be transformed into larger structures. I had the privilege of collaborating on many of these projects, either directly in construction or during the design phase. Below, you'll find the names of the lead designers for each shelter.
